$1,400.00 (as of January 17, 2019, 12:21 pm)

STAN LEE Stan Lee signs a color 17×20 printed art of “Captain America”. Printed Art signed: “Stan Lee”. Color, 17×20. “Captain America” on canvas. In 1991, 21st Century Film Corp. produced the movie Captain America in which the super soldier battles the Nazi baddie, Red Skull. Artist and cartoonist Stan Lee (born in 1922) created the comic superhero Spiderman in 1962. At Marvel Comics, he played a role in creating such heroes as the X-Men, Daredevil, The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer and Stripperella (which debuted on TNN in 2003 with Pamela Anderson as the voice). The Marvel Comic characters, unlike the invincible straight arrows such as Superman, who had previously dominated the superhero industry, had the flaws and anxieties of ordinary human beings. Lee’s plan to build an Internet entertainment company, Stan Lee Media, around his comic characters was less successful. Fine condition. Framed, not in Gallery of History style. Not reviewed by us for conservation integrity. “As is” framing purchase. – Please contact us if you have any questions or require additional information. HFSID 261918
